Hydraulic Drive

A simpler set up which replaces the sprockets on the planter and directly controls the hexagonal shaft therefore still controlling the planter over the entire boom. This allows for an ease of calibration and simple adjustments when it comes to changing between target rates. The target rates are simply changed on the screen within the cab. Electromagnetic clutches can be installed to further increase accuracy which allow for section control to engage or shut off individual rows. Up to 4 products can be controlled therefore the sample principle can be applied to the fertilizing bins to be calibrated and controlled by hydraulic motors to allow for accurate applications.
