Individual Row Control

The ISOBUS PLANTER controller is a control system for machines with mechanical, central or individual drive. Up to 128 rows with SECTION control are supported. The job calculator regulates the application rate of seed according to the set target value in grains per hectare. Both electric and hydraulic motors can be controlled for control. Sensors (e.g. optical encoders or PLANTirium® sensors) are used to count and monitor the seeds per row. It is also possible to control the application rate of fertilizers and microgranules. In addition, different cut-off clutches can be switched manually or automatically (SECTION Control) for each seed drill. The motorized control of the application rate per row enables optimal seed placement and thus holds great savings potential. For more complex machines with additional fertiliser storage, the system can also regulate this application rate according to specifications.
